Wednesday, October 1 st
An Evening at Broadway
6:00 pm
This evening we will all enjoy the popular 50's musical "Grease".  Join us for some 50's music and the favorite evening snack of the rock and roll generation, Coca Cola and fresh popped popcorn.

Monday, October 6 th
Sing Along with Chuck
6:00 pm
Please join us for the treat of singing along with the mellow songs of Chuck Dee.  He always sings the familiar tunes we love.

Thursday, October 9 th
Red Hat Society
2:00 pm
The ladies will be sharing information from the fun book "How to be a Lady".  Keeping with our meeting theme, Ladyfingers and Pink ladies will be served! Don't forget to bring your manners and your red hat.

Sunday, October 12 th
Columbus Day
11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Whoever thought Columbus day would involve chocolate?  It was Columbus who brought cocoa back to Queen Isabella! We will be making all kinds of chocolate creations to honor the discovery of chocolate in the new world.

Birthday of the Month
2:30 pm
Join us for cake and ice cream and wish a Happy Birthday to all of our residents born in October.

Thursday, October 16 th
Museum Trip
1:30 pm
We will be taking a trip to Danforth, a small local museum in Framingham .  On the way home we will stop Tasty Treat for an ice cream. If you would like to join us, see Carol for more information.

Wednesday, October 22 nd
Hearthstone Harvest Soup
2:00 pm
Join us at the kitchen counter to help with the peeling and chopping.   A cool autumn afternoon is the perfect time to make our harvest soup.  We will serve it for supper with our own homemade bread, hot from the oven.

Thursday, October 23 rd
Pumpkin Day
11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Today will be dedicated to pumpkin carving, pumpkin crafts and making pumpkin bread.  We hope you will join us for a day full of fall fun.

Tuesday, October 28 th
Travel Book Club

Our travel club will be taking us to Salem .  What better place to spend an afternoon in late October?  Join us for a history of Salem , complete with lots of witch tales.  Witches brew and devils tails will be served.

Thursday, October 30 th
Hearthstone Halloween Eve
6:00 pm
Join us if you dare!  Jay Ferguson will be here with a variety of scary songs and monster music.  Sing along with us and then try some of our creepy cake and a peculiar punch!

What is the best day of the month to celebrate birthdays? Labor Day!! Join us for cake an ice cream and celebrate the labors of women everywhere.

We want to honor the people who have been such a great blessing for our children. We hope you will join us for cake and coffee and visit the person who loves your children so much.

Tuesday, September 9 th
Singalong with Richard
6:00 pm
Join us for an evening with Richard Hughes, the ragtime piano man. He always plays the songs we know and love, so stop by and join in the singing.

Wednesday, September 17 th
Red Hat Society
2:30 pm
The ladies will have an "armchair" visit to France . sit with us and sample different kinds of French cheeses and have a glass of "wine". Don't forget your red hat!

Thursday, September 18 th
Apple Picking Trip
11:00 am
This is the time of year for New England apples. We will be taking a trip to Tougas farm in Northboro to pick our own apples and sample some of their homemade apple pastries.  If you would like to join us, see Carol

Saturday, September 20 th
A Musical Afternoon
2:00 pm
Jay Ferguson is the most talented performer we have visit us.  If you haven't heard him sing, you are missing a fun afternoon.  We all hope you will join us for his wonderful selection of songs.  Join us for refreshments at 3:00 pm.

Sunday, September 21 st
Welcome Autumn
11:00 am – 4:00 pm
We will welcome the changing leaves and cool air of the autumn season by making fall leaf pins and a tree of autumn leaves. Join us for the crafts, or stop by at 2:30 for some apple cider and maple leaf cookies.

Wednesday, September 24 th
Travel Book Club
11:00 – 3:00 pm
In the morning we will read about a visit to Naples from the book "A Year in the World" Later we will be making Naples Marguerite pizza and enjoying an Italian cappuccino.

Thursday, September 25 th
Apple Festival
11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Remember all those apples we picked last week? Today we will be creating some apple art and cooking apple crisp with the fruits of our labor.

Tuesday, September 30 th
The Man with the Hats
6:00 pm
Joe Saracin will be here with his funny jokes, many hats, and lots of songs for us.  We hope you will join us for an evening of fun
