They are united by the experience of their cognitive impairment and their participation in the first program of its kind in New York, intended to help them continue to achieve the highest possible level of performance.

Riverside Park, one of the world's largest urban parks, is located one block away and provides a place for frequent accompanied walks for residents. The artistic and performance community of New York also provides a link to the community for residents who either go to the theatre accompanied by Hearthstone staff, or as performers come to Hearthstone at the Esplanade to perform.
