Hearthstone Residences – Setting New Standards for People Living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.

Hearthstone operates two residences:
Woburn, MA
Marlborough, MA

Each highly specialized memory care community is committed to meeting the evolving needs of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia – and their families. Our goal is to set new standards for Alzheimer’s and dementia care and, more importantly, to elevate quality of life for people living with memory loss.

I’m Still Here®

Developed by Hearthstone’s founder, Dr. John Zeisel, the I’m Still Here® approach is central to the lifestyle at Hearthstone’s Residences. I’m Still Here® ensures that each individual’s unique interests and skills are incorporated into their daily activities, so that every experience is meaningful and fulfilling. You can read about the I’m Still Here® approach in John Zeisel’s book, I’m Still Here: A New Philosophy of Alzheimer’s Care.

At the core of I’m Still Here®  is the knowledge that people living with memory challenges feel empowered and hopeful when they continue to be a part of the community. The I’m Still Here® program includes ongoing daily activities and events, organized events for families and visitors, and outings to museums, restaurants, movies, local shopping, and sight-seeing excursions.

Seeing my mother’s true spirit come back to life, and shine through her eyes that day she began to play music again was an experience I will never forget. – Resident’s daughter, Englewood, NJ
