well-established Assisted Living Residences, it has the feel of a large traditional New York apartment. The Hearthstone Floor includes an elegant dining room, a cozy kitchen,
a library/piano room, and a great view of the Hudson River.
At the Esplanade, Hearthstone offers specialized program for all levels of dementia. Residents are accomplished seniors from among New York's most prominent and interesting families.
They are united by the experience of their cognitive impairment and their participation in the first program of its kind in New York, helping them achieve the highest possible level of performance.
Riverside Park, one of the world's largest urban parks, is located one block away and provides
a place for frequent accompanied walks for residents. The artistic and performance community
of New York also provides a link to the community for residents who either go to the theatre accompanied by Hearthstone staff, or enjoy performers who come to Hearthstone.
By Subway
• Take the #1, 2, 3 or 9 trains to West 72nd Street.
The residence is two blocks north and two blocks west of the train station.
By Bus
• The M100, M104, M7 and M5 buses all stop near the residence.
By Car From Westchester and the North
• Take the Saw Mill Parkway South to the Henry Hudson Parkway South.
• Continue on the Henry Hudson and exit at 79th Street.
• Go east (straight) on 79th Street to West End Avenue.
• Turn right onto West End Avenue.
• Hearthstone will be on your right, number 305.
There is a parking garage on 74th between Riverside and West End Avenue.
